As I am only the guarantor of the rental of equipment, the obligations of the sports framework are not attributable to me.

Indeed, my only legal obligation is to provide equipment in good condition. The use of the equipment rented is the sole responsibility of the tenant who is required to:
-Not damage the board and accessories
-Not damage nature during the activity
-Not arrive under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances
-Not smoke on the paddle (if this condition is not respected and the paddle suffers a hole originating from cigarette ash, or the equivalent, the entire deposit would be lost).

The tenant will be responsible for any damage caused to the rented equipment.

Conditions for renting a paddle:
-Be 18 years old
-Be able to swim

Legally, I am required to provide you with the following information:
-It is strictly forbidden to pass through a lock on board a kayak/paddle. You must go around it.
-The Tour du Monde in Belgium is not obliged to warn you of the normal risks of the activity, that is to say those against which a normally prudent and vigilant participant can protect himself. The Tour du Monde en Belgique is not responsible for any accident that occurred to its client who slipped on pebbles, after getting off his boat to cross a rapid at a place where the edges of the slide had been laid out on a gentle slope to facilitate passage on foot, so that it presented no danger and was considered passable for a layman.
The Tour du Monde en Belgique is not required to carry out a daily preliminary reconnaissance to ensure that there is no danger on all possible routes, and is therefore not responsible for a drowning caused by the collapse of a stump the night before the accident.
